This FAQ is for Administrators

If your school uses the uEducateUs Kiosk, you can setup the system to automatically update student attendance rolls when students are dropped-off and picked-up.

Before you start

Enable Student arrival and departures on the Kiosk app

  • Login to uEducateUs and expand your browser window so the left-hand main menu is visible.

  • Click the 3-bar hamburger menu at the top left if you can’t see the menu.

  • Click Attendance > More > Student arrivals and departures > Preferences.

Enable automatic attendance marking

  • Tick Allow kiosk entries for Late Drop Off and Early Pickup…

  • Click Save.

Set up automatic attendance code selection

  • Navigate to Management>Sign ins>Student.

  • Click on Create student sign in reason.

    • Enter a Reason - these are visible to Parents to choose from when signing in their Students.

    • Choose an attendance code to Mark attendance for classes prior to arrival.

    • Choose an attendance code to Mark attendance for the class at the time of arrival.

    • Choose an attendance code to Mark attendance for the classes after arrival.

    • If an attendance code field is left blank, attendance will not be automatically marked for that field.

    • Click Save.

  • Click on the Sign Out Reasons tab.

  • Click on Create student sign out reason.

    • Enter a Reason - these are visible to Parents to choose from when signing in their Students.

    • Choose an attendance code to Mark attendance for classes prior to arrival.

    • Choose an attendance code to Mark attendance for the class at the time of arrival.

    • Choose an attendance code to Mark attendance for the classes after arrival.

    • If an attendance code field is left blank, attendance will not be automatically marked for that field.

    • Click Save.
