Manage new and published permission slips

This article is for Administrators

Once you’ve created and published a permission slip, you can perform additional tasks.

Before you start

Manage Permission Slip settings

View Permission Slips

 

  • Click Events > Permission Slips > View Permission Slips

Filter permission slips

You can display a subset of results using the page filter.

  • Click Events > Permission Slips > View Permission Slips.

  • Click Filter.

  • Choose the event type or status.

  • Choose a date.

  • Click Apply Filter.

  • Click Clear filter to restore the default list.

Search permission slip titles

Display a list of permission slips based on the Title column.

  • Click Events > Permission Slips > View Permission Slips.

  • Click Filter.

  • Enter your keyword (e.g., Sports).

  • Click Search.

  • Click Clear filter to restore the default list.

Change permission slip columns

You can change columns to display more information from each permission slip.

  • Click Events > Permission Slips > View Permission Slips > Preferences.

  • Tick each column name to have it display on the page.

  • Click Save.

Edit a permission slip

Edit and make changes to the date, time, title, description and parental consent.

  • Click Events > Permission Slips > View Permission Slips.

  • Click > Edit on a permission slip.

Delete a permission slip

You can delete permission slips not yet published.

  • Click Events > Permission Slips > View Permission Slips.

  • Click Delete on your permission slip.

  • Click Delete on the confirmation message.

Manual consent actions for parents/guardians

You can perform a number of optional actions on behalf of parents and guardians.

View students

  • Click Events > Permission Slips > View Permission Slips.

  • Click > View on a permission slip.

  • Click Students.

  • Click > View on a student.

Add students

  • Click Add Students.

  • Tick the classes to include.

  • Click Update list.

  • Tick each student to include.

  • Click Add selected students.

Remove students

A permission slip requires at least one student to be approved.

  • Click Events > Permission Slips > View Permission Slips.

  • Click View on your permission slip.

  • Click Students.

  • Click > Delete on the student.

  • Click OK to confirm.

Remove staff

The creator of the event cannot be removed.

  • Click Events > Permission Slips > View Permission Slips.

  • Click View on your permission slip.

  • Click Staff > Remove staff.

  • Tick each staff member to remove

  • Click Remove selected staff.

  • Click Go back…

Notify participants of event cancellation

  • Click Events > Permission Slips > View Permission Slips.

  • Click Edit on your permission slip.

  • Change the dates to today’s date.

  • Enter a cancellation message in the Title and Description.

  • Tick Send notification of changes to participants.

  • Click Save.

Generate PDF reports
