Administrators can view, create, edit, disable and delete subjects for your school.
Before you start
Create a Campus with Manage Campuses
Create year levels with Manage year levels
Create classes with Manage classes
View subjects
Login to uEducateUs and expand your browser window so the left-hand main menu is visible.
Click the 3-bar hamburger menu at the top left if you can’t see the menu.
Click Management > School > Subjects
Filter subjects
Display a subset of subjects with the page filter.
Click Filter.
Choose the subject type or status.
Enter a subject name.
Click Apply filter.
Click Clear filter to restore the default view.
Create an F-10 subject
Create a Senior subject

Click + Create Subject
Enter subject name.
Choose the curriculum
Choose the curriculum:
VCE
VCAL
VET
Senior Australian Curriculum
Choose the subject category
Choose a subject colour to help highlight in the Diary.
Choose a chief examiner if required.
Setup semester reporting (optional)
Assign a subject code
Choose the default reporting template
Choose the semester grading scheme
Describe the subject
Grading schemes (optional)
Add a grading scheme for Outcomes and Learning tasks, with specific items for each.
Choose the grading scheme for Outcomes and Learning tasks
Click + and enter the name of an outcome or learning task.
Set work habits (optional)
Work habits can be included for marking in a Semester report.
Tick the work habits to include:
Class behaviour
Effort
Work quality
Good under pressure
Save and close
Click Create when finished.
Edit a subject
You can edit everything but the curriculum.
Click Manage > Schools > Subjects.
Click 🔽 >Edit for the subject.
Make your changes.
Click Save.
Disable a subject
Disable a subject to prevent it being added to new or existing classes. Those classes with the subject are unchanged.
Click Manage > Schools > Subjects.
Click 🔽 >Disable for the subject.
Click Disable on the confirmation.
Delete a subject
You must first remove a subject from all classes prior to deletion.
