This tutorial is for Administrators

Step one: view custom absence types

  • Login to uEducateUs and expand your browser window so the left-hand main menu is visible.

  • Click the 3-bar hamburger menu at the top left if you can’t see the menu.

  • Click Attendance > Absent Notes.

Step two: create custom absence type

  • Click Manage types.

  • Click New Absent Note Type.

  • Name the code

Step three: choose settings

Link an attendance code to an absence type, and allow parents to use it.

  • Select Attendance code…

  • Select Yes to allow parents to use the code.

Step four: save & close

Click Add.

Step five: enable the absence type

Make the absence type available to staff or parents and guardians.

  • Click 🔽 >Enable.
