This knowledge Base article covers:

  • How Teachers access the details of all students

  • How Teachers mark all Attendance Rolls

By default, teachers can only access the information on children that are in the classes that they are assigned to.

If your school has the requirement for teachers to access the information on student outside of their classes (including the marking of attendance rolls), then the school administration staff can grant individual teachers the access to do so.

Teachers - Accessing All Student Details

To view details for any student in the school, click on Overviews from the side menu, then click on Students.

By default, the Class filter is set to My Classes:


To change this:

  • Click on the Filter button

  • Select All Classes from the Class filter drop-down box (and set other filters as required) 

  • Click on Apply Filter.

This will allow access to all student profiles:

Teachers - Viewing and Marking All Attendance rolls

To view and mark unmarked Attendance rolls for any class in the school,  click on Attendance from the side menu, then enter the Mark Attendance tab.

Note that by default, the Class filter is set to My Classes:

To change this:

  • Click on the Filter button

  • Select All Classes from the Class filter drop-down box (and set other filters as required) 

  • Click on Apply Filter.

This will allow access to all unmarked Attendance rolls for any class in the school:

  • The above process will also work within the Marked Attendance tab, which will allow teachers to view the marked Attendance rolls for any class.

  • Teachers are now able to mark Attendance rolls for classes that they are not assigned to by simply following the normal roll marking process.

  • Teachers will not be able to view Unmarked Records, Absent Notes, Unexplained Absences or Attendance Records for any student outside of the classes they are assigned to.

  • Attendance reports created by teachers will only include information for the students in the classes they are assigned to.
