Navigate to Management>Sign ins>Student.
Click on Create student sign in reason.
Enter a Reason - these are visible to Parents to choose from when signing in their Students.
Choose an attendance code to Mark attendance for classes prior to arrival.
Choose an attendance code to Mark attendance for the class at the time of arrival.
Choose an attendance code to Mark attendance for the classes after arrival.
If an attendance code field is left blank, attendance will not be automatically marked for that field.
Click Save.
Click on the Sign Out Reasons tab.
Click on Create student sign out reason.
Enter a Reason - these are visible to Parents to choose from when signing in their Students.

Choose an attendance code to Mark attendance for the classes after arrival.

Absent Arrival
This option allows the existing at time of arrival kiosk code to be overwritten depending on how late an arrival has been or how early the student has left.
For example:
AM Period: 9:00am = 12pm
PM Period: 12pm - 3:30pm
Reason: Medical Appointment
Mark attendance for the class at time of arrival: 111 - Late arrival at school
Absent Arrival:
2hr
205 - Medical Appointment
If the student is signed in on the Kiosk at 11:25am, rather than getting marked as 111 - Late arrival at school, the student will be marked with 205- Medical Appointment because the arrival time was more than 2 hours after the current period had started.
If the student arrived at 10:15, then 111 - Late arrival at school would have been used.
