Administrators can create as many types of absent notes, and link them to an attendance codeuEducateUs comes with built-in attendance codes.
These can then be used to mark student absences, and if required, used by parents with their uEducateUs account.

Step one: view custom absence notes

Click Attendance > Absent Notes.
Create custom absent note

Absent note types need to be created before absent notes can be added to the system.
Click Manage types.
Click New Absent Note Type.
Name the absent note.
Choose settings
Apply an attendance code to an absence type, and allow parents to use it.
Select Attendance codeā¦
Select Yes to allow parents to use the code.
Save & close
Click Add.

Edit custom absent note
Click 🔽 > Edit for the absent note type.
Make your changes.
Click Save.
Disable or enable
...

This makes the selected absent note type unavailable for use.
Click 🔽 > Disable for an enabled absent note; or
Click 🔽 >Enable for a disabled absent note.
Delete

Click 🔽 > Delete.
Click Delete on the confirmation message.
