You can create custom absence types and link them to specific absence codes. These can be used by staff or parents and guardians.

View custom absence types

• Click Attendance > Absent Notes.

Edit custom absence types

• Click > Edit for the absent note type.

• Make your changes.

• Click Save.

Disable or enable absence type

This makes the selected absent note type unavailable for use.

• Click > Disable for an enabled absent note; or

• Click >Enable for a disabled absent note.

Delete a custom absence type

• Click > Delete.

• Click Delete on the confirmation message.
